This explosion proof scale is important for any operator who needs to be able to keep track of solvent levels in their recovery tanks. This is important for monitoring how much solvent is used or lost in each run. 

Our recommended way to use the scale is to place the extractor tank on the scale, and secure the tank in place with a water tank strap so the tank can't slide or move, yet still reads properly on the scale.
